Learn how to create and manage Project Folders

Effective project management often relies on how well projects and associated tasks are organized. In Innoslate, we have the ability to allows users to create folders and keep their projects well-organized via the Manage Projects Dashboard. This article will dive into how users can use this Dolders feature to enhance their project management and project organization.

Creating a Folder

There are two methods in which users are able to create folders to enhance their project management. Each method explained below allows users to effortlessly create folders without having to interrupt their workflow.

Method 1

1.  Navigate to the Manage Projects Dashboard.

2. Click the "+" icon next to Folders on the left sidebar.

2.  A window will prompt users to declare the Folder Name.

3.  Once the desired name is chosen, click "Create".The folder will now be created and will be available to be selected when creating new projects.

Method 2

1.  When creating a new project, click the "Folder" drop-down.

2.  Choose the desired folder if available, or create a new folder by simply typing the folder name and pressing enter.

3.  The folder name will be added in the drop-down and click "Create & Go". The Project will automatically populate and the project will be placed in the folder, which can be confirmed on the Manage Projects Dashboard.

⚠️Folders will be automatically deleted when there are no projects available (0) in the folder.
