Presentations View Settings
The Presentations View provides users with intuitive tools to present and customize their slides. The Present & Settings buttons together offer functionality for presenting slides on the Innoslate platform.
Presentations View Present
The Present Button, located on the top right of the canva, allows users to begin their presentations. Users have two options:
- Present from Beginning: Starts the presentation from the very first slide, ideal for delivering the full narrative to an audience.
- Present from Current Slide: Enables users to jump straight into their presentation from the selected slide, perfect for resuming or focusing on specific sections without restarting.
These are two standard options with the goal of allowing users to focus their presentation and content.
Presentations View Settings
The Settings Dropdown offers several customization and utility options to fine-tune the presentation experience. Key features include:
- Slide Number Position: Choose where to display slide numbers (top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right) or hide them entirely.
- Zoom Levels: Adjust the zoom to specific percentages (50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, 150%, or 200%) for precise editing/viewing.
- Capture Image on Save: Automatically generates an updated thumbnail for the Presentation Card when changes are saved.
- Hide/Show Guidelines: Toggle the visibility of guidelines on the sides, enabling a cleaner canvas for design or precise alignments when needed.
- Change Slide Background: Opens a popup window for advanced background customization.

Users can choose to inherit the presentation’s background, which applies the default background to the entire presentation.

They can opt to apply a consistent background to all slides in the presentation for a unified look.

Users can upload a custom image as the background for selected slides, with a live preview showing how the new background will appear.

- Remove/Add Presentation Label and Remove/Add Slide Set Label: Manage slide labels to better organize and identify slide sets or presentation slides.
- Help: Directly access the Help Center documentation for troubleshooting or learning more about the Presentations View.
This dropdown enhances user control and flexibility, ensuring presentations meet specific needs.
