Explore a comprehensive overview of the Reports available in Innoslate's Presentation View
Innoslate's Presentations View offers several export report options. These reports can be accessed in several spots on the Presentations Dashboard and within Presntations View itself.
Presentations Dashboard Reports
4 types or reports can be accessed by clicking on the 'Reports' icon located on the top of a Presentation card:
- Download Presentation Output (XML)
- Download Presentation ZIP Output (INNO)
- Download PowerPoint (PPTX)

After clicking 'Reports', a drop down appears to select the desired report.
Keep in mind that the reporting from this view is limited to the Slides included in the corresponding Presentation's view. If you need to generate a report on additional entities not included in the Presentation, please use the Reports out of Database View.
Download PowerPoint (PPTX)
The Download Image (PNG) option allows users to quickly export a high-quality PNG image of the presentation thumbnail. This feature is particularly useful for creating a visual snapshot of the presentation, whether for documentation, quick previews, or sharing as a standalone visual.
Download Presentation Output (XML)
For a more comprehensive, machine-readable output, choose the Compilation XML Report. This provides a .xml file of your Compilation, allowing for easy data interchange between software applications. All 'Export' options that can be included in this export are Comments, Project Preferences, Workflow, and Cross Project Entities. Enter a 'File Name' and select 'Create' to export the Report.
Download Presentation ZIP Output (INNO)

For a full output of the Compilation, including files and images, choose the Compilation ZIP Export. This generates an Innoslate file (.inno) which can be imported into any other Innoslate project, preserving all of the relationships, attributes, files and images from the original data. All 'Export' options that can be included in this export are Comments, Project Preferences, Workflow, and Cross Project Entities. Enter a 'File Name' and select 'Create' to export the Report.
Presentations View Reports
Within a Presentation, the toolbar offers a variety of Reports options, enabling users to download five distinct outputs. It is important to note that these options will only export the currently selected Slide, rather than the entire presentation or Slide Set. If you wish to generate a report for the complete presentation, please refer to the reporting options available on the Dashboard.
To initiate the download of your chosen report, click on 'Reports' in the toolbar and then select the specific report you wish to download. The download will start automatically.
