Innoslate Enterprise License Platform Types
Configuring your Innoslate Enterprise license to your platform.

During the Innoslate setup process, the second step involves configuring your license information. You'll select the Platform Type that corresponds to your deployment environment from the following options:
- Local (Windows/macOS/Linux)
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure
- Docker
- Legacy
This selection generates a unique Innoslate License ID tied to your specific machine and platform, which is used to issue or validate your license.
Selecting the appropriate platform ensures the PLATFORM setting in your settings.properties file accurately reflects your environment. If you leave this option blank or unselected, it defaults to the local or legacy platform.
If you migrate to a different environment during the year and reuse or recycle your existing settings.properties file, be sure to update this PLATFORM setting accordingly. This ensures your license properly aligns with the new deployment and avoids potential validation issues.
Below is detailed information about each platform type:
Local (Windows/macOS/Linux)
Innoslate will be hosted locally on your machine. The license will be tied to the hardware and operating system of this specific device.
Amazon Web Services
Innoslate will be hosted on AWS. The license will be bound to this platform type and the specific machine instance.
Microsoft Azure
Innoslate will be hosted on Microsoft Azure. The license will be bound to this platform type and the specific virtual machine.
Docker
Innoslate will be hosted in a Docker container. The license will be bound to this platform type and the container’s runtime environment on the host machine.
Legacy
Select this option if you already possess a valid Innoslate license (typically a trial or previously issued enterprise license).
