Create documentation baselines for documents.
Creating a baseline for a document, captures a snapshot of the document's entities, relationships, and attributes. To create a baseline, select the 'Baseline' option under the 'More' button on the top toolbar.
Note: Only users who have the role of 'Owner' in the project are able to create a baseline for a document.

A pop up will appear to name the baseline as well as the capability to "Add Signature".

The entities in the document will be marked with blue baseline indicators to indicate that the document has been baselined.

Review an Existing Document Baseline
To review an existing document baseline, refer to the Baselines Tab on the left sidebar as shown with a signature below.

In the Baselines section, users will find a list of their baselines along with their creation date and time, as indicated by the red arrow. By clicking on a baseline, users will be able to view all statement and requirement entities, including their relationships and attributes, for that version of the document. Once a baseline is chosen, the feature will also display the e-signature, Signed by user profile and username, date, and time of the signature.
Edit an Existing Document Baseline
Editing an existing document baseline is a straightforward process that allows users to update baseline details while maintaining version control. To begin, navigate to the document containing the baseline you wish to edit and locate the Baseline Options menu in the top toolbar of the interface. From here, select the baseline you want to modify, which opens the 'Edit Baseline' modal. This modal provides an intuitive interface where you can make adjustments to the baseline’s name, description, or associated metadata without altering the document’s contents.

Once inside the modal, you can update the baseline details such as name and signature to ensure they accurately reflect the document’s state or changes made during the project. After making the necessary updates, click Apply to finalize the modifications. Editing baselines enables users to align their documentation with project progress and organizational requirements while maintaining a clear record for tracking historical changes.

Note: All baselines are displayed as read-only and cannot be edited. To resume editing a document, simply switch back to the current version by clicking on the top document link under Main Document, indicated by the red square in the image.
