Below we'll cover how to add events on the Calendar Widget of the Project Management Dashboard.
The Calendar on the Project Management Dashboard is different from a Calendar Chart and is a special widget in Innoslate specifically for the Project Management Dashboard. Users are able to show Task and Time entities on this calendar under certain conditions, examples of each are in the image above. To make a Task entity or Time entity show up on the Project Management Dashboard's calendar the following conditions apply:
- Task entities with a Kanban Board label show up if they have a Due Date attrubute will appear in purple
- Task entities without a Kanban Board label show up if they have a Due Date attribute will appear in green
- Time entities with a Kanban Column label show up if they have a Start Attribute will appear in blue
While there are a variety of ways to create an entity, to exemplify the conditions for each to appear on the Project Management Dashboard's Calendar widget, we will use the entity view of the respective entity as an example below.
Please note that holidays are automatically included in the Calendar widget for the convenience of users and cannot be modified.
