Create and manage a Team within Innoslate effectively.
Administrators in Innoslate have the ability to create teams from the organization's user base, enabling efficient sharing of information with all team members simultaneously.
The Teams Panel on the Admin Dashboard indicates the teams in your organization. From this Panel, Admins can Add/Remove a Team and navigate to the Teams Dashboard.
Add a Team in Innoslate from the Teams Panel
- Navigate to your Organization's Admin Dashboard and locate the 'Teams' panel.
- Hover over the header to reveal the 'Add Team' icon and select it.
- In the 'Add Team' window, enter a Name (required) and Description (optional), then click 'Create'. The new team will now appear on the Teams Panel.
- Click on the team to access the License Dashboard, where you can add users.
Remove a Team in Innoslate from the Teams Panel
- Click the Remove button next to the team you wish to eliminate.
How to Navigate to Teams Dashboard
- Click the hyperlink of an existing Team to proceed. If no teams exist, add one first.
Teams Dashboard
Each team created within the organization will be displayed on the Teams Dashboard in a user-friendly table format, enabling easy management and modifications. From this Dashboard, users can:
- Add or remove users from a team
- Search for specific users within a team
- Create new teams or delete existing ones
Add Users to Team
- Find Team panel on License Dashboard and hover over panel's header.
- Select 'Add User' so the Add User prompt appears.
- Type in 1 user by email or username, then press 'Enter'.
- Repeat Step 3 to add multiple users to the license type.
- Select 'Create'.
Delete Users
- Click the Remove icon next to the user you wish to eliminate from the team.
Search for a User
- Click the Search icon located in the table of the desired Team; this will open a search field.
- Input the username or email address of the user you wish to find.
- If you need to clear the search and look for a different user, click the "X" next to the Search Field to reset it.
- To completely close the search field, select the "Close Search" option.
- Select 'New Team' for the 'Add a Team' prompt.
- Enter Name (required), Description (optional).
- Select Create.
Delete Team
- Hover over header of desired Team's panel.
- Select the Delete Team () icon at the top.
- Select 'Confirm Delete'.
