How to utilize the Guided Tour in Innoslate.
When users start an account with Innoslate, users will be defaulted to an organization dashboard with a blue box to start the Guided Tour, as dispalyed above. In this article, we will guide you through the process of taking the Guided Tour and show you how to navigate through it.
1. To get started, click on the 'Start Guided Tour ' Gray button on the blue box.
Additionally, if you prefer to skip the Guided Tour, you can simply dismiss the Guided Tour box located at the top right corner of the blue box.
2. There are four different types of projects available in Innoslate that serve as excellent examples to guide users through the entire lifecycle. Click on the project you'd like to use for the Guided Tour and click on the Next button located at the top right corner to proceed.
3. In the next step, you get to customize your Guided Tour by choosing the views that are most relevant to you. This allows you to tailor the tour to your specific needs and preferences. The options provided are different views in Innoslate appropriate to the topic that walk you those views. Users must select a minimum of 1 area but can choose all. After clicking on your desired areas, select 'Next' on the top right.
4. The Tour will start where modals will pop up with advice on how to use those features for that particular view. Press the 'Next' button on the modal to continue to step through the Tour for that view.
5. When the Tour is done highlighting the features, the modal will direct you to the next view. You'll continue steps 4 and 5 of this process as the Guide tours you through your chosen views in step 3.
6. You know you've completed the Guided Tour, when you reach the following modal.
Navigation Bar
The navigation bar provided at the top allows users to move on to the next view automatically with the black next button on the left, utilize a Tour Progress modal pop up to skip to other views with the Details button, or close out the Guided Tour mid-tour with the black X on the top right.
The Tour Progress modal pop up will look like the image below. Use the blue 'Go to view' on the right to go to the indicated view or close it out witht he Close buttons on the bottom or X on the top. Note the indicators showing a view has been completed with a green checkmark and the hourglass indicator on the view you are currently in.
